OBD Test — from $80
- For 2013+ diesel trucks with a working OBD-II port
- Plug-in scan, result transmitted to CARB the same day
- 15–25 minutes on site
- Text confirmation as soon as it's filed
- Free retest if fixed and rechecked within 30 days
Opacity Visual Inspection — from $200
- Required for 2012 and older diesels
- Also for any rig flagged by CARB or that can't be read by OBD
- Calibrated smoke-opacity test
- Full under-hood and tailpipe visual inspection
- 30–45 minutes on site, written pass or fail report
